2026–27 NHL/NHLPA Innovation Competition Presented by SAP

The NHL, NHLPA, and SAP are inviting college and university students across Canada and the United States to develop ideas that shape the future of hockey. Teams will tackle a real industry challenge, receive guidance from SAP mentors, and compete for the opportunity to pitch to industry executives and win up to $10,000 in scholarships. The competition offers networking, mentorship, and exclusive NHL prizes across Canada, the New York tri-state region, and the California Bay Area. Submissions open October 19, 2026, with final dates confirmed at registration.
